Kenny Meiring

Kenny is one of a handful of people in the country to hold both life and pensions fellowships from the Institute of Life and Pensions Advisers

He passed the financial mathematics course given by the Institute of Actuaries in London

He also holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch and a post graduate teaching diploma from UCT.

 He ran the communications division for a large financial services company and is an expert in explaining complicated financial terms in plain and understandable English.

He is passionate about retirement funds and believes that they are what protect most families from poverty in times of death and retirement.  It is important that people make the right calls when it comes to their retirement funds.  An independent an experienced person like Kenny can make a huge difference in the lives of your fund members.

The FSCA’s guidance note on Retirement Befit Counselling says that the counselling should

  • Be provided by a suitably qualified and experienced person
  • Be provided by someone who can handle conflicts of interest
  • Be relevant and appropriate to the member

Kenny meets all these criteria. He is well qualified and has over 30 years’experience.

He is independent so there is no conflict of interest.

He is skilled at explaining complicated financial matters to lay people and will ensure that the members understand the benefits and are ale to make an intelligent choice

He is also a Certified Financial Planner and is registered with the FSCA.
